Former Marussia F1 test driver María de Villota has joined the national council of the Royal Spanish Automobile Federation, as she continues to recover from injuries from her 2012 accident.

maria was to go for more surgery, but we did not hear anything about it. so i hope that all went well for her. glad to see that she is retaining her interest in the sport. all the best to you, maria.

Very courageous lady. Courage comes in different ways, i live very near Newtown in the USA and have read some courageous stories from the parents of the children who died. A lesson to us all on the positives in life. Wish her well for the future.
