Fernando Alonso expects Felipe Massa to be a stronger performer during the 2013 F1 season

If Massa is faster than Fernando at the start of the season teddys will be thrown from the pram and Massa will mysteriously slow down. They need Massa to get regular podiums though if they are to win the constructors championship. Even if Fernando doesn't win the WDC Massa must beat Webber consistently. It's a tough balancing act.
