The Marussia F1 team has confirmed that financial concerns forced the parting of ways with veteran Timo Glock.

So if they don't get a driver with substantial backing will the team fold? Chilton brings in over 10 million (bonkers I know) so are the looking for driver sponsors to cover 1/3 or more of the operating budget? That's a pretty precarious position to be in as the money is delivered in stages and doesn't always appear.

unless someone like petrov brings a load of money to the team, it looks as if the team are doomed. i hope that timo was amply compensated for them breaking his contract.

Just one more shoddy decision by this shambolic F3 bunch pretending to be an F1 team!
Brings F1 to a new low....The sooner this amateurish bunch are put out of their misery the better.
Lets face it what possible progress (up the grid) could this “team” possibly make with 2 pay drivers?
