Mercedes has now been turned into one of F1'S most pressurised balloons ever, I struggle to think if any set up ever existed consisting of so many people of more or less the same line of expertise, and to cap it all they (Mercedes) intends to manage this potentially highly explosive set up by a three time world champion who is reputed to blub much less then kimi R! and a Toto with split interests, the latest additional pressuring attempt that might blow up this F1 balloon is a Paddy if true.

@richard, Pitpass ,has asked Mclaren about Lowe's move to Mercedes. Mclaren issued a firm "no comment". Makes me think Bild has called it right yet again.

@107SS2009 ,up till now i have seen Mercedes as slow movers and over bloated. However, the latest rapid events could be the Big Bang they need to bring about some order. Eddie Jordan has often said something like, too many heads at Mercedes and they need to sort themselves out.
I have a bit more respect for Niki than you.

Too many heads at Mercedes? Eddie must have been wrong! Elijah, if Mercedes will be fast by 2014 as a result of it now having the fastest driver ever to grace F1 and the most top heavy team ever in F1 they will not manage to finish a race let alone win one due the fuel restrictions.

Toto has just got his foot in the door at Merc, but is already giving Ross Brawn a vote of confidence by stating that the Brits job is safe, whatever the outcome, I don't think Ross will be too inconvenienced, along with quite a few of the other 'fall guys' Mercedes have gathered at the team on 'very' nice salaries.

Does that mean Sam Byrd and Anthony Davidson's jobs as test drivers are in jeopardy? Davidson is amazingly quick he just never had a proper ride in F1, even though I'm still miffed at him for taking out my beloved corvette at lemans in 2010, while it was leading.

Unless Paul DiResta has a huge season in 2013, Mercedes could stop backing him up at Force India. There are new sheriffs in town it seems.
