McLaren technical director Paddy Lowe could be headed for Mercedes, as the German marque ramps up its 2013 F1 title assault.

It will be like Yoda and Skywalker! This year will be good for Merc but I think next year will be great for them. Although having the best individuals doesn't always equal the best team. They all now need to jell together and become a united front, then they can ho kill some giants!

@hope - how can you make a statement like that? For one, there's absolutely no evidence of such favouritism and two, you could not possibly know what Lowe thinks!

Seems a dodgy time to be 'poached' by a rival team, taking full knowledge of the upcoming car.

and changes at Mercedes, including the rise of Niki Lauda and the departure of Norbert Haug coming inn Toto, could indicate that Ross Brawn and Nick Fry are preparing to leave.

Lowe was saying 2012 car build around Button, but Australia Hamilton out qualify Button then race something happen Hamilton's car,that starting conflict in between Lowe and Whitmarsh. Lowe said Development was follow Hamilton direction. Hamilton was never happy and Lowe were close friends.
