Well said Felipe, lucky/good enough to land his dream job, with Ferrari and the team mate of 'three' world champions. Good luck this season, make the team tell you 'Fernando is faster/different strategy etc.

Words of a man who knows he has one last season.

Unless he unlocks something special, problem is whenever he does unlock something recently Alonso/Ferrari screw him over.

I think his mind is a bit shot with it all. It is hard to give it your all, when you know that when you are good enough you need to back it down to ensure that you are 2/10 slower than our teammate.

Cheated out of a world championship by Briatore and Piquet , lost that race he was winning due to them and their cheating . If only he could regain his pre accident form and mindset , seems too nice a person to be a F1 driver , you have to be able to manipulate inside the team and be selfish and ruthless to get to the very top. Thats what Alonso did on occasions if you examine his history. Most world championships in most sports are won or lost in the mind

This is a man who knows he's lucky and counts his blessings. I still wish he was the 2008 WDC, but it didn't happen. I like Massa a lot. He's a steady #2. While I said I'd like to see KK in that Ferrari, I don't think that will ever happen. Massa is the best when it comes to playing the team game. I think you will hard press to find any other driver on the grid who is willing to put team first over personal ambition. IMHO, Massa is exactly Ferrari want/need right now.

Are you guys kidding? He deserved the title? He shouldnt have even been that close if it wasnt for the FIA interfering in everything and awarding him points and giving out stupid penalties to Hamilton! He is a number 2 and that's it, I expect Ferrari to drop him at the end of the year but who else will be Alonsos bitch?

But he is heavily complaing about pay drivers. Maybe he knows his days are numbered. Italian media reporting Horner made visit to Ferrari. Ferrari looking to get a triplet package?
