F1 » Kubica: Too early to think about my future

Robert Kubica insists that there are no guarantees that his DTM test will lead to a race drive with Mercedes.

Robert is too ambitious to permanently set his sight at DTM, if so and he ends up racing there, it must be a trampoline to a highest form of motorsport, you know which :)

He's still young enough and thinking only of a world title, be it F1 or WRC. So if he races DTM in 2013, we can start to believe in F1 comeback in 2014.

kubica is already signed up for wrc in 2013. there are also stories that he will be doing wtcc in 2013 or 2014. this test is not to do with a drive in dtm, put purely an offer by wolff, to see if robert can actually drive a car with downforce.

all credit to wolff and to kubica for trying it out, but the prospects of kubica ever being mobile enough to drive a narrow monocoque car, have all been ruled out. apart from that, whereas it is great to see any driver returning to sport, after an accident, kubica did not show signs of the brilliance needed to be a wdc. he had ONE win, gifted to him.

i wonder if wolff will give a drive to another injured driver, maria? it would be nice to see her being given an equal chance.

He doesn't have the movement in the arm, shoulder and elbow... we are 2 years on, let's just accept that single seater racing isn't happening for RK.

keep her lit. i rarely criticise others for their views, but what on earth are you trying to say? nothing i wrote is other than fact. why not try to disprove anything that i have said? making stupid comments about a poster is a sure sign of a person who is unable to debate or respond.
FACT the dtm drive is NOT a test for a seat. per wolff
FACT kubica is signed for wrc this year
FACT kubica says that he is joining wtcc next year
FACT Kubica does not have required movement in wrist and arm
FACT Kubica had ONE lucky win, due to lulu rear ending kimi, both of whom were ahead of him in the race
FACT Maria is equally deserving of a trial run in a dtm car
FACT whereas kubica is fast, his teammates have beaten him and they are not wdcs.
FACT Kubica has stated that he will not be back in F1

Good Luck Robert!

Update - Just read a link to F1 Racing magazine, Robert Kubica is stating he is working to get sufficient movement in his arm and hand with a view to return to F1 in two years time.

I really hope he can do that and proove the know-it-all's wrong!

Also - Would love to see him at Goodwood Festival of Speed.
