The article should have read "I'm the boss (for now..) "Lauda is the real wolf here from what I'm reading.. it was Lauda who lured Hamilton.. it was Lauda who got Merc the concorde agreement with Bernie.. it was Lauda who lured Toto Wolff.. imo the person wielding the most power at Merc is Niki .. not Ross. Ross is in trouble.. and if Paddy Lowe jumps ship Ross will issue a statement that he 'decided' to retire --they have apparently lost faith in the Brit..

This might sound strange and confusing but, There is the possibility that MR F1 got a finger in all this, nobody in F1 that ever opposed or resisted anything MR F1 wished or was after ever managed to avoid the proverbial kick up the backside.

Richard, as I said nobody that ever resisted or opposed or was/went against his wishes or whatever he wanted has ever managed to avoid that proverbial kickupthebackside
It should also be noted that the so called proverbial kickupthebackside was also always sure to be administered even to those that after opposing his wishes relented to them it served like sort of branding a cow with a hot iron.

Over2u and all those on this F1 forum (unfortunately in a minority) that prefers a serious and intelligent discussion about the goings on in f1 as opposed to fanboyism and biased arguments of those that (all depending on their leanings and how the situation will effects the team or driver they support, this is the 3rd bombshell of 2013 FI season, it has the hallmark of F1 politics at their best, as time passes one gets a better chance to reflect on what was and what is going on, and makes one a lot wiser and that includes me, at this point in time here is my two pence on the Mercedes goings on. Brawn sounded relaxed but, he might have just seen off an attempted coup, he might be using his contract as a bargaining chip, Mercedes might have just called his bluff, or he might still be on his way out. to be continued.

Continued, all that is and has been going on at Mercedes might be as a result of moves/manipulations from those higher up in F1 to see to it that the ball they set rolling hits the cross hears, to get to the point, I tend to believe that it all revolves around Lauda coming in or being pushed in and that the central/pivoting point was all to do with Lauda's negotiation's of the concord agreement, something which both Brawn and Haug were known to have opposed and resisted.

I left out the following in my post.
Richard yesterday mentioned Parr (ex Williams) when Parr who was known for his opposition to MR F1 was gone everything was swiftly settled with Williams, concord agreement and all.
