Is there any meaning behind the nmber that I've not read? Most, if not all, the others before had some sort of meaning, such as the 248F1 was related to the 2.4L V8 engine that was new for the season...

IMO Not that many people pay attention to the actual name of the car unless it manages to place itself among the greats i.e. the McLaren MP4/4

I'll challenge this article and ask is anyone on earth "on their toes" waiting to find out what pointless number the new Ferrari will be called?

Anyway I'm still too excited waiting for what stitching design the McLaren issue y-fronts will have around the seem.

clutching at straws this site really does post a lot of non news, and silly countdowns whilst fresh reports from the tracks aren't as forth coming

Osella FA1L is awesome.

OT: while mostly insignificant it's kind of a fun factoid for the F1 anorak to know the internal code of Ferrari's F1 racer. Leave it up to the Italians to come up with something illogical and give it some kind of meaning :D

Im so excited now, armed with that knowledge. Doesnt get much better than that does it ? If they tell us the chassis numbers too I think I will have to go and have a lie down.

I really like this new name, it's different and more interesting than if it would've been named just "F2013". But the most important thing is of course that this car would be super fast and reliable.

Gooo Ferrari!!!
