That's Caterham consigned to the gutter then, alongside Marussia. Both will be joining HRT. I guess Fernandez is more worried about loosing the Millions he has ploughed into QPR at this moment in time. The extra few quid into the F1 team from a pair of crap pay drivers will help the F1 teams sustain itself a little more.

has there ever been a season with so many rookie/2nd year drivers? how are we the fans supposed get excited by next years grid?

who, arguably (or certainly, in Kobby's case), deserve another chance!

Here's another fact - excluding backing by car manufacturers, 10 teams in 2002 had title sponsors (the majority of which being non-tobacco), now it's just McLaren, Mercedes and Force India...
