Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has backed the decision to have Fernando Alonso sit out the first pre-season tests, while also squashing rumours about Sebastian Vettel joining the team.

I wonder what he would have said if Massa made this decision. I'm not even a Ferrari fan but I hate the way they treat one driver with utmost respect and the other with contempt.

Hmmm seems like Alonso is calling the shot on many things at Ferrari these days, interesting to see Fernando scared to go up against Vettel at Ferrari, I do believe Seb would be too fast and solid for him but it would have been close and I was looking forward to that titanic of a battle, but oh well its Fernando that don't have the balls.
