cptn birdseye. the twitter piture only showed a rough idea of what the car was like. one pundit (saward) manipulated the images to give an idea of what HE thought it might resemble. the only part that he was reasonably accurate with, was the nose. the rest of the car had little detail.he himself admitted that it was only assumption. the fact is that NO-ONE had seen the car until today. everything before was SPECULATION!

Newey is right again. Just remember the last big changes of the rules back in 2009. One year ahead, in 2008, Ferrari and McLaren developed intensivily their cars until the last race, so did Renault too in order to demonstrate to Alonso and the world that they still knew to win races and fight with the very best.BMW Sauber stopped their development in the last quarter of the season but was still very focused on Kubica's title assault, and Adrian Newey was focused on adapting his aerodynamics with the strong Ferrari engine, in the Toro Rosso of Sebastian Vettel. And come 2009 and all of this teams paid a heavy price. Brawn GP, Toyota, Williams and even Force India made very good steps forward, and Newey's chassis was quite unsuitable to the Ferrari engine and electronics, but was very compatible to the Renault ones.

"The devil has very much been in the detail," he said.
Very sharp observation of him, not at all a surprise after all.
But, on the other hand, there has to be a "Deus ex machina" to take the fight with that devil. His name is Adrian Newey.

The mercedes is a big disappointment, it just looks a bit 'dumpy' and inelegant. The Sauber looks nice tho and think they are a dark horse this yr, maybe they will surprise and outpace Ferrari in some races and think they will get a win this season

Little does Adrian know that the new Williams has no suspension like a go kart reason the new Williams will miss the first test.

This innovation was tested by Williams when Alan Jones was a drive but Alan said it was to hard on his bacb to which Frank replied "Sit on your wallet" Alan replied only if you put money in it.

Maldonardo has plenty of sponsorship money to sit on to drive the suspensionless car.
