I wonder about Fernandez, its common knowledge that f1 one is like a black hole for money, and yet he has just ploughed a huge amount of money into his bottom of the table football team saying "I know what I'm doing, I'm an accountant"

QPR's Flash ary has had this hands in the Fernadas biscuit tin, pay driver with the biggest backing gets the seat.

Team wont do anything anyway and is going nowhere.

Is he (Van der Garde) an ex-premier league footballer? Thought I heard this name at Premier League, wouldve made the money for F1 as well

@joan

No.

OT: apparently vdG only brings about 5MM to the team. Still a lot of coin of course but compared to some others it's pocket change. It's rumoured that Vit had promised to bring about 11MM last year but that a lot of that never came to fruition and that therefore Caterham liked the fact that Giedo's millions are guarenteed no matter what (his father-in-law's net worth is estimated at 1,3 billion Euro's).
