babyblue. have i ever said that lulu is not fast? he is on his day, but not consistently enough, otherwise he would have a few more wdcs!

i said that the CAR is the problem. no one can say from a few photos, that the car will be fast, or even close to the ferrari or bull.

even merc downplay their chance of a win, as the car is an evolution, not a revolution. merc have not even gone down the pullrod fs, as macca has done, (recognising that it aided ferrari). so unless merc have some secret weapon, that actually works, they will have their work cut out.

to win a wdc you need a number of plus points..
you must have a cohesive team
you need to have a car advantage, or at least equality.
you need to have no internal in-fighting.
you need to have a 100% committed driver.
you need to have a good driver (is lulu really better than schumi?)

etc etc

if they get a win....great....the more winners there are, the better for the sport. they might luck in to a win at some point during the yea

The car looks okay to me. As someone else said earlier, 'looks pretty much the same as last years pup with a few extra appendages'.

With such a huge regulation change for next year, I think most of the teams will be about where they were last year in terms of competitiveness and performance. With a few tweaks to the last years car there might be minor changes but nothing extraordinary. I can only imagine one team that would walk the extra mile and spend a ridiculous amount of money for a fractional performance gain, for a on year package, Ferrari. The huge changes will come next year with the new engines and all.

Looking forward to see Rosberg completely destroy Hamiltons confidence and see more f-ups from him. 'Twitter-gate' 2.0 this year? :D

babyblue, i think you should show jenson some respect he is a world champion and has been racing 7 years longer than Lewis so is a lot more experienced than Lewis and in 2011 he was able to beat one of the rb7 Newey cars which Lewis could not do, granted it was more about Lewis imploding than Lewis being outperformed but it was a great season from jenson and he should be regarded as a top driver and a f1 ambassador.

I'm sure Jenson will get over being outperformed in 2012 by a focused Lewis and i as a jenson fan do realise that a focused Lewis in the same car as any driver would most probably be unbeatable in any epoch but no need to dis JB

I see rgt is back with a host of new user names.

My absolute favorite new one is "baby blue", I know what song will be in my head when Lewis fails this year (Bob Dylan wrote it).
