hungrier than any other team he has known in the past??????

does he not believe that macca (the only team that he has been part off) were also hungry for success? and does he imply that no other team has been dedicated to achieving success?

So what do you expect him to say Richard?, I am sure he feels what he is saying is a reflection of what he is seeing within the team.

Perhaps you would prefer him to say that they arent really bothered, and will be dragging themselves along to the races for the sake of it.
Either way, whatever he says, the keyboard superbores on here will look to slag him off for it.

The reason they have been losing is that they have not had a top line driver untill now.
The Schumacher of the last 3 years was not the same as he was before.

If I was a team manager I would want the quickest man in the car That driver is Hamilton.

Genuinely curious to see how the personalities gel in this setup, despite his back tracking Lauda had some pointed critisim of Hamilton (to say the least), both have an ego and Lauda suffers from foot in mouth disease at times.

The need to show improvement this year and be title challenging or at least winning a decent few races in 2014 or Merc will pull the plug. Plenty at board level don't want this team. Better hope they can sell as many AMG's in China using Hamilton's name as they did with Schumacher.
