Narain Karthikeyan set to spring surprise and beat Jules Bianchi and Adrian Sutil to the second Force India seat...?

Quite sad really, he's been outperformed by a mere test driver (Pedro) that is past his best and there are so many talented young drivers out there. Di Resta would destroy him.

Well at 36 he's hardly likely to be a major improver but unfortunately money talks in F1 and I guess he is at least Indian. Nice guy but better at commentating than racing!!!!!

Let him be the third driver and put him in the least placed car in the champions when comes the Indian GP and voila...

To deny Bianchi his chance - at least Kamui, Sutil and others had it - would be so wrong IMO when he's done more than enough to earn for the team. But well, that's F1...

I'm aware that pay drivers are not new, and in some ways they can help but the trend is worrying, back end teams with full pay driver line up and mid field teams being slowly contaminated...

I guess you are mixing him up with his countryman Karun Chandok who has appeared as a guest commentator for BBC on occasions?

I personally think it would be interesting to see Karthikeyan at Force India to get a fair idea of how good or bad he really is.

Please do not do this, the man is not an F1 driver!
Being so slow makes him as big a danger on track as Maldo Crasho!
F1 is not about the Sport anymore only how much money a team can grab! Williams being a good example of let decent drivers go & keep the money bringing idiots!

@kF1

How do you figure that? Narains best result for a season in a single seater race was 10th, and that was in the A1 GP. Aside from that quite a few 12th - 18th places, and even a few 20-25th places.

The blokes a joke, not just in F1, but in any racing series, and got blown away in the recent Race of Champions.

He's doesn't get paid to be a race car driver, he pays to be a race car driver.

Note the difference.
