Just did research on him he has only won 2 A1GP races but everyone who was in A1GP series has won at least one race.Everything else he was also run. As for being ROC Asian Champion there was only two teams (India/ China) go figure....

continued from above....

drivers and he is no young. But still he can atleast for a year can be given the chance to prove that he is not just a cucumber in a team like FI? In the meantime FI can deal with year ahead(which will see a Tsunami of changes) and who knows can emerge like RBR or Brawn.I would look it in this way, sometimes you need to take step or two back to gain a three ahead.
I beleive Narain being involved with Sahara Force India can do a heck lot of a good thing with the motorsport industry in India. I would say give it a go and keep Jules as a reserve for 2013 and play him in 2014. And as of Narain remember even Lewis and Bernie patted the idea at the last Indian GP so why not?

For Christ's sake, I thought we had finally got rid of this guy. He's taken up a race seat for far far too long. This year has two less cars so it will be even more destructive to the excitement of the racing. Bernie should step in and tell him where to go.

There are so many talented guys out there ready to fill the seat, what about valsecci or that canadian guy?

I think we'd all better just calm down here. Too much vitriol! Besides, looking back at young Narian's career, he's not a bad driver - just hasn't had much in the way of competitive vehicles :-))

C'mon guys, give the guy SOME credit...

He did actually finish a F1 race in 4th, in arguably the worst Jordan in history, so he must have something about him javascript:insertTextCursor('comment', ':p')

He may never had had a competitive car, but then again Narain has never given even a remote impression of outperforming his machinery like Glock and Kovalainen these past couple of years. Being beaten by Monteiro and a past-his-peak de la Rosa tells you all you need to know. Taking a rookie pay driver is one thing, as they may go on to have a great career, but taking somebody whose mediocrity has been evident throughout his F1 career would be unforgivable - especially at the expense of someone as talented as Bianchi!
