To make any conclusions of anything that happend in Jerez is just silly! There are way way way to many variables to even come close to making any predictions about anything! Calm down fellas, let's not blow our wad so early.

Hamilton will regret his decision to go to Mercedes by April. He'll be a moving chicane by June when Mercedes decides to no longer develope the 2013 car and concentrate on 2014. See 2012 for reference.

@Taipan, man, you should be on a stage with tags like that! ... :-) ... pure brilliant!

@Zelda & Dizzy 2 ... this is a forum, where things are discussed, and if you make a wildly ridicolus comment then it will be picked up and remarked on. Surely we have every right to comment and share our own opinions too ... No? ... please let me know ...

As for being bullied, well, that has fast become the default stance for anyone who doesn't like being challenged, or who has had an error highlighted ...

Finally, Dizzy2 ... if you had read Dizzy's post properly you will have seen that he's not a Hamilton fan! ... Ooops ... an I bullying you again ... there, there ... pmsl

I think it's reasonable to suggest that Lewis might out-qualify Jenson. Finishing ahead of him in the Merc would be pretty unlikely, but dizzy didn't make that assertion in the first place.

Taipan, you say that Lewis lacks racecraft and that's what wins races and championships. I would agree that that Jenson's racecraft is far superior, but in their time together at McLaren, Jenson managed 8 wins and Lewis 12.
