Paul di Resta unveiled the new Force India VJM06 alone, but there are plenty of names in the frame to partner him in 2013....

Well well. There is one MAJOR driver every keeps forgetting about. Rubins Barrichello! This Guy when at the wheels of a good car is a championship contender. Booted from the sport before his time and should be begged to come back. Remember the Brawn days him and button fighting for the title, one of the best years for the sport. He is by far the BEST candidate for force India for one year then replace Massa next year. Rubins, Rubins, Rubins

I really feel Narain Karthikeyan. Currently the best Asian driver after Kobayashi. Sadly he has always dealt with third grade machinery in his F1 career. Truly deserves a decent car like SFI. If that gives him a tag of a pay driver, so be it !

Except for Kobayashi, I' don't particularly care to see any of these candidates in F1. Sutil was ok as a driver but we'll just see a year like the first five he's had, which is not very interesting, plus there's his personal issues. Jules 'crash' Bianchi is fast but crashes into others all the time. Kovalainen and Karthikeyan are simply not fast enough for F1.

Sadly they won't go for Kobayashi, so I primarily hope it won't be known mediocre boring quantities Sutil or Kovalainen.

If Karthikeyan does get the nod it'll at least be somewhat intersting to see how close he can get to Di R :D

I think Narain Karthikeyan should be given the seat as he is talented however was not driving a good car last 2 years. Sahara and Force India should invest in him and make India proud.

It is being reported that the Indian banks are calling in loans made to mallyas enterprises, (1.6 billion!) and that several of his properties have been seized. so i wonder if FI will be able to survive. it may explain why the second driver has not been named as yet? (has diresta even been contracted yet)

but as for those advocating karthikeyan??? well he had his chances and proved to be pretty much of a handicap, so unless he has millions to pay for a drive, he hasnt a chance.

baianchi is the obvious choice, but will ferrari give FI money, if they are not sre if the team/mallya will survive, or the money could be seized by the indian banks?
