F1 » POLL: Who should get second Force India seat?

Paul di Resta unveiled the new Force India VJM06 alone, but there are plenty of names in the frame to partner him in 2013....

Short term thinking, will mean that you will vote for your favourite driver or the one you think is the fastest.
Certainly not Bianchi, crash kid and a whiner who did 3rd time at Jerez who together with Massa were the only drivers to use supersoft compound and almost no fuel load!

So long term and in the interest of Force India, Nairan who is nowhere near as bad as some wrongly informed people think!

How many of you noticed that Jules' time was way faster than Di Resta best in the tests. Proof enough who I'd vote for. Probably Paul was not the best bet for the team.

go. i guess that you have not been following testing! first of all, cars were trying differing set ups, fuel loads etc.

no supersofts were used to set times. in fact, i posted the top three times and tyres of each day, on the testing times thread. but to save you having to go to the thread, here are the top ones using SOFTS

grosjean day 2
di resta day2
massa day 3
kimi day 4
jenson day 4

and i disagree with bianchi being a crasher or a whiner. yes, he did complain when frijns drove him off the track, rightly so, but he is a fast driver, and isnt that what we want in f1? ferrari seem to have more respect for him, than yourself, TG!

Defiantly NARAIN . lets give him a chance he's never seemed to have a good car, and his performance at the ROC (race of champions) showed he can race with the best when in a equal car! plus TATA will invest millions in the British team as his sponsor .

Are you kidding me? Kamu should get the seat. He was on the podium last year and can also help Force India to poach key Sauber employees. They would be idiots to not hire him. Heikki is a possibility but I have never been that hot on him.

Vijay Mallya is fishing at the moment. He wants big and expensive fish but he should settle with Sutil.
However, if he patriotic person and then give Narain Karthikeyan to second seat.
I don't care who will drive for second Force India car.
I'm sure he won't take Kamui Kobayashi or Heikki Kovalainen because these two do not have Sponsor. I hope both Kamui Kobayashi or Heikki Kovalainen will come back in 2014.
Current situation in Force India is unusual for F1 team because the team doesn't decide its second driver yet after first round test was finished.
Obviously Vijay Mallya can not deny he has financial problem otherwise he will take Sutil for second driver's seat.

Surprised not to see Alguersuari get more votes, would be really interesting to see how he could do against Di Resta. Last year's performances by the STR guys really puts his and Buemi's performances in perspective. I think they're both quite good, and I think Alguersuari has untapped potential still.
