That was a complete fix the lap looked a mess and he was on the grass before the last 2 corners and if you remember when seb was there he had a head wind which in that Suzuki shed will make a big difference.

I can't believe how 2 faced clarkson is as he was all over seb when he was there but was cold about him last night .

Lewis mentioned he wants to build Mercedes around him and turn them into winners as not many drivers have done that and MS was the last at Ferrari but if I am not mistaken isn't that what seb has done at red bull as if you look at red bulls results before seb joined they don't make very pretty reading and now look at them they are winners and totally focused around seb.

I think a certain mr Hamilton is jealous of a younger more talented than he is German driver.

If that was the real time,it's impressive, but in the big scheme of things it doesn't matter one jot.as for the time of Michael Schumacher,he didn't even do a lap!

Just one more thing ....... Mr andy willman producer of top gear when will mark webber and Kimi raikkonen get a second run as the weather was horrid on the day they had their runs and with top gear being shown all over the world you can't show favouritism to a Brit so come on andy we expect to see these two sometime soon..

I agree with Richard. Hamilton Hype Rules OK! The Red Bull was NOT the fastest car over the year. Who won a GP in a Torro Rosso? Was that the fastest car at the time or was it being driven by the most talented driver since Michael?
By the way please desist in printing such rubbish. F1 is not football!

Ah it all becomes clear now, Lulu left McLaren and their PR requirements so that he would have more time to practice lapping the TG test track!

1.1 seconds faster than Seb? sounds a bit fishy to me, shame he can't do that in an F1 car though.

It's amazing so many people here would call themselves F1 fans, yet want to discredit Hamilton because he happened to be quicker than Vettel by such a margin. Like you didn't know Hamilton is the quickest driver on the grid??

Why do you think he is paid the most? Why do you think Alonso, Button, Vettel, et al have constantly referred to him as the quickest driver. He constantly out-qualified Jenson. Even in his silly season, most of his retirements were made whilst he was leading Jenson.

Everyone claims to want to see pure driving talent, where the car is not the main factor, Top Gear does that, and then everyone complains because their golden boy hasn't won. Lol. Sour grapes much.

I would say it had new tires or maybe it was a nice hot day and the tires had great grip. Hamilton did say " wow that was a great gear change" so maybe it had a new sporty clutch. Anyways he is a top notch driver but I would say he would be lucky to be 0.2 faster that vettel and that why he was so surprised.
