Here it comes! I've been preaching about this since the end of last season. Just wait until Lulu gets on with his nonsense and brings on all that bad publicity for the Three Pointed Star, and then lets take a look at how much money the shareholders want to "throw" at F1. Mercedes F1 is doomed.

While Ferrari was built centered around racing and that is their DNA, I do not think Merc is in the same boat. While I have no doubt of Merc's ambitions, I am not sure what marketing value F1 brings to any of these car manufactures anymore. No watches F1 and goes "oh...red bull racing have been winning, let me go out and buy red bull products." I would find it very hard to believe that Merc is really gaining advertising or publicity from F1. Merc is practically a household name. I would still buy a Merc regardless of their performance in F1

JJ... F1 has over 500 million viewers. I think that is a market most would want to capture. And Red Bull is a marketing machine. They are in almost every form of racing and sports on the planet. And they sell millions of cans of red bull per day.
