An attempt to lighten up this fan boy ism, this is off topic but might interest these here newbie fan boys as well as the old timers. Yesterday February 23rd marked the tragic 2nd Cuban GP of 55 years ago. After Sterling Moss having overtaken Masten Gregory under the red flag after the tragedy, Masten Gregory to Sterling Moss, “now listen I was in the lead all that time” Sterling Moss, “well yes, but not when we passed the finish line”. Sterling Moss, “I know that the red flag had to be unauthorised one, so I said to Masten, look keep quiet, we'll pool our money together and then split it, and that's what we did, because otherwise it would have gone to the organisers to decide and it would be years before we got the money”. That was the time that was, it will never return.

Westy, Lulu may have been better behaved in 2012 but it would have been hard even for him to be as much of a liability as he was in 2011.
As for his mouth being under control, perhaps but sadly his twitter account wasn't.
Can you think of any other driver who would tweet the teams telemetry just to try and prove why his team mate out qualified him?
Or his attack on Button for not following him any more on Twitter, followed by another grovelling apology when he found out that he never followed him in the first place.

Maybe better behaved but still a long way to go.

2009, very interesting. I also see that Fangio was kidnapped by Castro's rebels at that GP also.

Good to see the oldies posting constructive and knowledgeable info instead of bashing talented drivers. Good stuff.

Mclarenmp423, we old timers posts constructive and knowledgeable info most of the time but some of the time we are forced into responding to some modern newbie fan boy ism and some modern gangsta hype from a driving seat.

When your team mate posts the fastest time one day in the dry, and then you post the fastest time in the wet Lewis, it's wishful thinking for me but I do believe "sandbagging" comes to mind.....

Hmm Lulu has just "unfollowed" Button on Twitter.

Good plan, he's obviously worried about McLaren seeing all the Mercedes secrets that he bound to spill. The plan does have a slight flaw though, Lulu is still following Sergio Perez....
