pcx. funny, there was NO time in testing that lulu and nico were driving the car on the same day. and this years car is NEW, so nico and lulu are both starting from scratch.

I thought Jenson was the new rain-master? According to some pundits he has a touch and a feel in wet conditions that makes him superior to the rest , seems like someone forgot to inform f1's fastest in all condition.

Problem with JB is if car is not perfect he becomes lost and until he learns how to drive around some situations then he wont be in Alonso or Lewis's class. Cant speak for Vettel as he has been driving super cars for the last three years.

the fact that Nico was only 1/10th of a second faster even tho hes been in that car for 2+ years doesnt really impress me Rich. If anything Lewis is having to learn a lot about how to make that car work with less downforce, while Nico has had many many many more laps and hours in much similar conditions.

Nico is a great brawler, and he might finish in front of Lewis a few times this year, but I doubt he will out qualify Lewis over the whole year, but I bet Nico is faster than Jenson.

What are these Lulu fan boy getting excited about? If their excitement is about a time obtained in between rain showers these lot are in a very poor state of mind which is a guarantee to invigorate Taipan no end.

dumper and dirty. are you the arbiters of who can post? why are negative comments not allowed? oh, i get it....you are lulu lovers!

but i will say the same as i continually say...this is just testing and has NO relevance to race pace. and in case you didnt see or read about the test today...it was WET. lulu got out between showers and set his time. by the way, he is saying that they need to find THREE secs by the years end, and also saying that the car has power, but no downforce.

and i hink that you will find (that is if you are silly enough to believe testing times) that the merc is not te fastest, and in fact, nico was the more impressive!

is that negative enough for you? :p :p

Well done Lewis and Nico, let them keep guessing by down playing the W04. Most of the 2012 season went into development of the W04. If we go by all the drivers take on tire deg then we could be even all round. If they can make the tires work on this W04 then it's an eye raiser for the top teams.

Lewis has said the W04 can't win but to me that's just playing it down and not giving the press a rope to hang him with later. Jenson behind Lewis must be a blow to his ego lol.

Groundhog day comes to mind.
