Counting on your personnel to overcome the car's poor engineering sounds like a poor team strategy to me. Ferrari is one of the richest teams and is using a backmarker's strategy. As we saw last year, even if your drivers are perfect outside influences will blunt their performances. Lets hope Byrne's intervention can overcome Ferrari's design weakness. You have to have a reliable car which is the fastest in the field a large percentage of the season in order to win the F1 championship.

From what I am reading perhaps Ross Braun may be interested in Domenicali's position next year, he clearly isn't making all the right moves over the past three years.

Why is Domenicali settling for being in the pack or the ball park? Shouldn't he be pushing to be the fastest? Something sounds weird here.
