Counting on your personnel to overcome the car's poor engineering sounds like a poor team strategy to me. Ferrari is one of the richest teams and is using a backmarker's strategy. As we saw last year, even if your drivers are perfect outside influences will blunt their performances. Lets hope Byrne's intervention can overcome Ferrari's design weakness. You have to have a reliable car which is the fastest in the field a large percentage of the season in order to win the F1 championship.
