It's obvious Mercedes are trying to spend there way to a championship. I for one seriously hope they fail. Like all manufacturers the board will get cranky one day and in a split decision that will take all of five minutes they'll scrap the F1 project, sell the team for $1 and never recover. History honestly does repeat itself.

The outcome I'd love to see most is technical genius Ross Brawn be poached by mclaren and take the team to multiple championships at Mercedes detriment.

My feeling is there are too many big egos at Merc now, something has to give and everyone thinks Brawn is on his way out. But maybe he isn't. Wolff is now calling the shots, not Lauda
