It's obvious Mercedes are trying to spend there way to a championship. I for one seriously hope they fail. Like all manufacturers the board will get cranky one day and in a split decision that will take all of five minutes they'll scrap the F1 project, sell the team for $1 and never recover. History honestly does repeat itself.

The outcome I'd love to see most is technical genius Ross Brawn be poached by mclaren and take the team to multiple championships at Mercedes detriment.

McLaren are obviously upset as they have stuck him on gardening leave for a year................. Sour grapes if you ask me.

What are McLaren left with an average driver and a rookie.

Button might have been a World Champion but more by luck than skill. As he showed last year, he more often than not finished mid pack or lower.

whitew. totally understandable, and now common practice! macca would hardly allow lowe to work all year on the 2014 car, and then walk straight into merc with all the secrets now, would they?

More big egos at Merc equals fewer at McLaren methinks. McLaren have more chance of being a team where Merc appear ti be taking the 'galacticos' approach
