Now the heat is off and Adrian is no longer a friend in need, Lewis wants to be friends again. Was Lewis praying for his good friend when he was facing jail and needed Lewis to come good with the promised exculpatory testimony? No he wasn't, he turned into the invisible man instead.

I think it is obvious that Hamilton let Adrian down by not giving testimony. As much as I would like to see a bit of drama between the two I think they will be all smiles come Melbourne.

its funny how there's been a fair dollop of mud thrown at A.S. on this site - seems they conveniently forget that King lulu was there and it seems had the get out of jail free card - can't help but wonder why he wouldn't show for his old mate.. says something of the character of Hamilton in my opinion. i hope Adrian delivers on the promise he's shown this year - if that F.I. is as slippery as it was a couple of year ago then Sutil is a good bet for a podium and i for one will be cheering him on.

stig, Yeah, Lewis should have stepped up an told a lie so he could go to jail as well. There were many witnesses to the event. The judge didn't even request Lewis to make comments the case was so clear. Sutil flew out of the country so fast he left everything he owned. He did NOT have Lewis on that plane. Tell you anything? And in my opinion Sutil is lucky he brings money to the team or he would have never driven in F1 again.

rob. nobody asked lulu to lie (well not this time!). sutil wanted him to tell the TRUTH, and obviously felt that lulu could assist him in his defence. and by the way, lulu WAS summoned by the german courts but made up excuses as to why he could not attend.

i have no idea if lulus testimony would have helped or hindered the case, but i would have thought that any TRUE friend would be prepared to attend a court when asked.

finally, i am amused at the thought of lulu . down on his knees with hands clasped, praying! maybe he did this too, before he signed with merc?
