cont.. didn't it strike you funny that Lux reached down an grabbed his arm for no reason? Why do you think he grabbed Sutils arm? He was addressing a drunk Sutil and telling him to watch his yap. Thats my honest opinion

well rob, we're not going to agree on this - which is fine btw,
but yeah if im in a pub and someones grabbing at me like that the natural instinct of pretty much anyone is to lash out..and you'd generally go for the neck/head because thats the most effective way of repelling someone..
if you're saying you wouldn't then fine...
ive no doubt that lux has certain gentlemans club ties..along with judge etc.. money corrupts..
the scar on lux's neck IS barely a scratch and its further back on the neck than the juggler/ jugular vein.

i guess the bottom line is that lulu knows what was said - in what context etc - but chose not to air these words in court. - you have to question why he chose not to - if they were damning or not.. the boys a bit of a weasel if you ask me.

stog/stig. as maggie once said.......rob is not for turning.
he is second only to rgt as lulus most fervent admirer :D

but i fully accept that sutil and possibly lulu , had a little too much to drink, but there is no evidence as far as i know, that lux was stone sober.

i love robs description of a "juggler" vein. i still have to find out where this is, in my body.

i accept that richard, and its good that we have a forum like this to tell each other ''sorry thats wrong''.

but despite sootys fine etc, its lulu that comes out of this as damaged goods, and its probably in part why most of the drivers on the grid dont like him..

i think i'd like to meet eric lux...i bet he's a right odious little worm.

Lewis chose not to get involved.
His choice, possibly under advisement from his employer/manager.
Don't blame him.
Imagine if his truth did more to hinder Sutil's case as opposed to help.
Ohh -- would not have mattered, some would find fault with that too.
If say Sebastian, Fernando, Jenson or pretty much any of the higher profile drivers had walked away from this or a similar situation, would their condemnation be as great.
Doubt it.
Damned if he did, Damned if he didn't.

Pub brawl, slapped wrists, penalty paid, move on.

Roll-on Australia.

otoh. i doubt that any sane advisor would tell lulu to disregard a court calling. but as you say, its all over now, but lulus behaviour just is another reason why people do not warm to him.
