Nasty little jab there at Vettel Eric. Nah, Vettel is in the big boy league now. And he straight away has proven what he is capable of. The youngest man to do EVERYTHING in F1.
That being said, I would like to see a fair fight with Sebastian. Maybe even in the same car when Mark retires. But something tells me that Romain, who is the same age as Sebastian, Just doesn't have the same mettle as the young German.

The junior rank races mean nothing. Sorry Eric. Let's first prove he can win in F1, which is a lot more comprehensive. There are a lot more factors than having a fast car. I'm not sure Romain is mentally strong enough yet. If he drove the RB8 last year, I'm not sure he would have won a race. He is fast yes, just not consistent. Don't get me wrong, he is a very good driver.

I think Boullier just makes such comments to satisfy & boost his bosses hopes, or his sponsors, or even in a vain attempt to 'speed up' his number one driver Kimi...

I have known Romain since he was a boy. He is an outstanding young man with not only a huge talent for driving but an even greater sense of right and wrong. He knows he made mistakes, he knows he paid the price, he knows how lucky he is to be in an F1 car still. But, above all, he knows OTHERS know he is an exceptional talent. I would agree with Boullier and say Romain has everything he needs to be an F1 champion. What Romain needs now is the consistency of a good car under him and an awareness of who to 'attack' and who to leave alone.
