sutil is back (rgt). thanks for your endorsement, but please dont try and blacken me with a comment.
i am a fan of f1 , full stop, and if i post an actual fact, why do you take this as hating a driver? i just do not rate some as highly as others. so what? not all drivers are equal, that is part of f1! lulu is good, but inconsistent, and that is pure fact.

if you idolise lulu, fine, but to take any time in testing as an example of how a driver is doing, is not very clever. cars are carrying rakes etc, all of which affect balance, weight, aero etc. and it all depends on what config they are running, as to what time they produce. another site is saying that the merc was in fact running underweight.. and then there are some using drs to showboat, while others are concentrating on race simulations.
if webber is only seventh in testing, does that mean that the bulls are finished? i doubt it.

kiwibob. it is a fact that the other teams also had four sets of the prototype teams, and possibly used them , but maybe in different circumstances . when lulu set his time, perhaps you could advise what other car was out on the track at the time, (same track temp) , same fuel load, same use of drs, same etc etc. i know the answer, and that is why i, along with many others, say that the time was inconsequential and was for showboating purposes. merc did exactly the same last year....remember schumi being on top of the pile? and then look what happened.

the race is the ONLY place where you can assess a cars performance, good or bad.

if Mercedes tyres problem of last year is still with them the cold weather would have helped them like it did when they won in China last year, lulu's fastest lap which was in a five lap stint was not indicative of a qualifying lap as a qualifying simulation is done with an on and of lap like Massa was doing, re the Pirelli's, the blank tyres (unmarked) are prototypes manufactured at an unidentified facility, the test with these tyres which were supplied for the first time is to ensure that they perform exactly the same as the normal race tyres, each team was provided with two extra sets of these tyres for this test, Mercedes seems to be the only team that have used them so far. Richard, correct , it was a wheel nut, and a wheel nut which there is no way of it being undone.

Richard you say that webber was 7 th does that mean there slow ... Well obviously not and they Wernt on the same programme as merc.. I think we will see a 1.19.something from red bull today, that was a mighty lap from Hamilton and testing in my eyes showing merc have got it together a bit more that mclaren as. But head and Perez are still not fully understanding the car . Merc are going to suprise a few people.. Like I said wen hammi signed for merc he will get 4 or 5 tenths out the car due to his super quick driving. Gwd luck merc cnt wait till Melbourne :)

Umm, its testing. Times mean nothing. Most if not all of the field have extra bits and pieces of scaffolding on their car measuring all sorts of aero etc

Still the same people making Hamilton out to be a average driver bit sad really that to do so seems to make their day.I hope Lewis has a brilliant season but there again the dislikers will still post negative rubbish about him.

Sorry richard if you thought i was trying blacken your name that was the furthest thing from my mind i and dont think you hate Lewis and i never implied that, it is just that a lot of your comments on Lewis are negative.

As for Webber in the Red Bull who was 7th i was watching testing on Sky and i could see that the Red Bull car looked like it was glued to the track as they are using a lot of rake angle and i am sure there is more to come from the Bulls..

But what Lewis and the Mercs did yesterday was mammoth and deserve some positive comments not negative ones.

Yeah, Lulu was out there racing against the clock instead of doing proper setup work. Someone said that they overheard Lulu saying something like "Just take all of the fuel out of it will you." He has always showboated during practice. The same source also told me that it was the Hollywood manager guy who put him up to it.

@ptolomy you are incorrect about the fuel in Lewis's car I am watching todays practise now and it has been confirmed that Lewis still had 5 laps of fuel in his car after his fastest lap. so you saying someone heard Lewis saying that is just hearsay on your behalf. please state facts.
