Can't we just let them be team mates? Are you even serious dude???

EVERY TIME Hamilton gets a new team mate there is nothing but vitriol and diatribe from his fans about how crap the new team mate is and how amazing Hamilton is!

Button was coping it even before he'd actually joined the team. 'Button is crap and Hamilton is going to destroy him', 'Button was lucky to win the WDC and now he's in the same car as Hamilton we're gunna see what a real champion can do'

Then, after it appeared that Hamilton couldn't in fact 'destroy' Button on the track, the focus shifts to how everyone is against Hamilton and favours Button cause Button is a back stabber and snake in the grass.

Then it's cause Whitmarsh favours Button and wanted rid of Hamilton. 'Get rid of Whitmarsh and bring back Ron' you all screamed.

Then Ron puts Hamilton in his place by reminding him that he's nothing but an employee and it's 'McLaren suck and Ron sucks and Hamilton should leave'.

Well, you all got your wish an

Well, you all got your wish and now it looks like another 'slow' driver you've all been slagging for years is about to stick it to Hamilton too.

Can't wait!

Honestly, if not for his *****ic, obsessed and ridiculous fans, I'd like Hamilton a whole lot more!

Interesting to here Gary Anderson saying that Nico being .428 sec quicker than Ham was not surprising considering Nico would have been setting his time on a track that would have been in better condition due to track evolving and laying down rubber and that the W04 driven by Nico would have been improving due to the 12 low fuel runs.

I just wonder what time Hammi would have set if in Nico' position yesterday maybe below the one minute 20 sec?

richard, I fear you may be right and that, after a few early season surprises, normal service will be resumed. All the teams near the front are packed with dedicated ultra competitive people, but McLaren and Mercedes both have a lot to prove, certain jobs are sort of on-the-line and I think we'll see both those teams mixing it right to the end. Less than two weeks.....! It's going to be epic and with so many great drivers on the grid and in top teams it's going to get messy at times. Bring it on!

Hey BOB I seem to recall Hamilton Beating Button 2 out of 3 years in champ positions, More wins and more poles
and Definately more retirements from the lead!
So I would say yes whilst Button was not destroyed he was most definately BEATEN.

It wont matter how fast either Mercedes is as the Red Bull will still be the car to beat for now. Lewis will make more inroads than schuey managed for the last three years, and Nico will benefit from having a proper setup. Schuey was useless in this dept......
