Nick stop posting the same message 3 times you make yourself look desperate and are clutching at straw, championships are decided on POINTS not poles or even wins which I might say shows Button to be on Hamilton's level in that regard, but think about it if Jenson can finish 2nd in the championship and BEAT your 'fast' driver but is still mediocre according to the Sham lovers imagine what a driver like Vettel would do to Hamilton, it wouldn't even be close lololol hope you're not losing sleep that Rosberg seems to be faster than your Sham of a champ, this is the Rosberg that was thrashed by Webber in the Williams, I hate to think where all you 'fans' would go if Sham loses to him, shhhhh nascars. Oh yeah Bob you're a legend.

bob ....out of all the top drivers Mclaren have had over the last few years including several ex WDC's Alonso. Kimi, Button, Montoya, Heikki etc..
The equal of Alonso in his rookie year for gods sake, honestly can you imagine Button doing that?
Button struggled against such greats as Ralf Schumacher, Fisichella and Trulli in his first few seasons. Good steady driver who will always get the car home safely, but nowhere near as fast and aggresive as Hamilton.
That is why Hamilton is so popular with race fans as he is exiting to watch, never a driver to just sit back and inherit points. Win or Sometimes crash and make mistakes trying! Im not a fan of any individual driver before I get accused of being a Fanboy. but know who i would rather watch as a RACE FAN.

when both lewis and jenson both crossed the finish line, lewis finished ahead of jenson twice as many times.
lewis failed to finish 2 more races than jenson in 2010 and 2012 and still got more points than jenson.
in 2011 he failed to finsh 1 more race than jenson.
last season lewis was by far better than jenson in everyway.jenson is lucky lewis got the dnfs he did,coz lewis would have beat jenson by over 100 points.

now talking about dnfs, lewis was actually ahead of jenson in most of the races lewis or jenson got a dnf.and when you add to the fact lewis finished ahead of jenson twice as many times when both drivers crossed the finish line, those dnfs lewis got definitely made jenson look better than he is.

last season in a fast car, jenson struggled,he only managed to get 1 pole.in total 1 pole in 3 seasons?thats not good enough to win championships.so unless mclaren have a much faster car to help jenson in quali, jenson will continue being outqualified by his main rivals this season.

@tealeaf,didnt lewis equal alonso,so what would vettel do to alonso if they were teammates?
and your right, championships are decided on points, and lewis got more points in 2010 and 2012.you win championships based on the amount of points you get EACH season, not every 3 seasons.2-1 to lewis.

I hope he will succeed, but he is concentrating on fitness and saying that it helps also mentaly... i dont think so. Mentaly you have to trust in your equipment (the car) and trust the set up, ant thats the place where he has the achiles heel. Unfortunatelly in F1 believing in yourself is not enough, you have to beleive in the machine as well and i dont think thats the case (only in 2004, 2006, 2009 and 2011) his best years.
