Damn, BIG changes at McLaren over the next few years!

2013 - Hamilton and Lowe gone
2014 - Title sponsor change
2015 - Engine supplier change

Still, anyone who thinks this will knock McLaren out of contention are seriously deluded!

Was Lewis the X factor for Vodafone? Like him or hate him, Lewis kept the media and public focus on McLaren far more than Perez is ever likely to do.

Maybe Carlos Slim's phone company might adorn the paintwork in 2014. Just saw your post Alex, I assume Telmex is Slim's company.

It had been clear for some time that Vodafone would end its partnership with McLaren, it hasn't got anything to do with Hamilton leaving the team. There have been speculations from the get go though that Sergio is there because he can bring mone from Carlos. That would be quite the departure (and fall from grace) for the McLaren team though to be dependent on a paydriver. But I guess with FA (Santander) at Ferrari that's how F1 is these days not only at the back of the grid but at the front as well...

Either way, looking forward to the livery change...this chrome and red has been there for too long.
