Jenson Button might have won last year's Australian GP, but on Friday he couldn't even crack the top ten at the end of free practice.

In 3 seasons Button won how many as in 2-1... Oh i forgot you like points

Ok over the past 10 years buttons win ratio is below 6%
whilst hamiltons is at 40%+

You answered your own post but as i am your master i shall answer it for you. Button is rubbish!!! his WDC required him to have an advantage of over 2seconds, this is backed up because 2nd half of the season who won 0 races!!!! LOL now Hamilton isn't there to give him setup data he is screwed..... Hamilton get on twitter help button !!!!

darth. the force aint with you! you can only compare two drivers when they are driving the same car. lulu was parachuted into a winning car from day 1. buton had to work his way up to his wdc.

Quick question to all the Hamilton fanboys, if you'll all stop laughing for 5 minutes.

Do you all hate Button so much because -

a. He out scored your idol Hamilton?
b. The team instantly liked him more than Hamilton?
c. He achieved a highest WDC position twice as good as Hamilton ever achieved over 3 years?
d. He won his WDC the very first year in a competitive car, as opposed to Hamilton who took twice as long?
e. He didn't get smashed by your idol at all, despite the predictions, scoring only 2 wins less than Hamilton?
f. He can actually call strategy during the race, as opposed to relying on the team or just plain cocking it up like Hamilton does oh so often?
g. He has a girlfriend who isn't a whining pain in the ass?

@BOB

If you believe the above to be true.. Why did Mclaren offer Hamilton a new contract then? Only for Hamilton to say NO..
PRESS A : Saw the rubbish 2013 macca and thought Merc 2013 looked alot better.
PRESS B: After the pit stops, dodgy reliability, lack of

@ Richard Stats say it after 10 years buttons points ratio is less than Hamilton. If you can argue that in the same team after 3 years Button had more points, I can surely add after 10 years Hamilton has lapped Button on points stopped off at Burger king then lapped him again on points.

that Lewis had it easy from day one conveniently ignores all he achieved before F1
For a top team to take that gamble, v risky ..I think his electrifying performance in his first few races vindicated that decision so why are we still harping on about it

darth. i am neither a button or lulu fan, but the simple fact is that you can only compare two drivers when they are in the same car. anything else is irrelevant.
for instance, you could compare sebs 26 wins in fewer years than lulus 21 wins, but what does that mean? nothing, as they were not in the same car.

stats which are not comparing like for like are totally worthless.

I didn't realise that this was a Hamilton story. The young fanboys are getting confused again !. Jenson and McClaren WILL get this car sorted. I look forward to the season ahead and iI know that it's a 19 race season, not a one race shoot-out as lots on here imagine. JB has one of the finest racing brains on the grid and all will come good.

Button worried by lack of McLaren pace.
I read that as an headline.
However the whole thread as erupted into a barrage of abuse about Jenson and Lewis.
Jenson and McLaren will achieve better pace.
Lewis will drive the machinery he is given.
Let's see what the next 2 days bring and even then it will be a little too early to judge.
