F1 » Button worried by lack of McLaren pace

Jenson Button might have won last year's Australian GP, but on Friday he couldn't even crack the top ten at the end of free practice.

Another season and the armchair racers are at it again. Once again Button is a terrible driver and can't drive around the cars problems.I would wager that 99.9 % of the posters here have never driven an F1 car but several feel qualified to be experts on driving ability and talent.
Most of the Button bashes conveniently leave out the fact that Perez also says that the car is hard to understand and not consistent.Is he also Mr no grip.?

Trackside observers have noted that the car is very stiffly sprung and is bouncing in the corners.Hopefully this can be sorted and the car is not fundamentally flawed.

Let's just enjoy the races and hope we have a safe and exciting championship no matter which driver we root for.

Funny how McLaren have a bad first day and it's all Button's fault in the mind of the fanboy and they're clutching their little under-developed dinkles doing the happy dance. Yet when ever McLaren gave Lulu a less than race winning car the same fanboys claimed McLaren were trying to scupper their little idol.
No need to remind me why I can't stand fanboys, plenty of evidence on this thread.

LH would have driven the same car without any hassles. JB always complain when he doesnt get a perfect car. McLaren will have more work to do to earn good points with him.

@ richard sorry, richard. But, that excuse won't fly. Mclaren doesn't have a top driver like Alonso to make that car work. No excuses this year for Mclaren and the guy who said Mclaren is sandbagging is living in a dream world.

@Bob
What did I say in an earlier post have to do with qualifying? You asked what happened in 2009&2010 after Hamilton qualified in the positions you stated. I answered your question. Why have a pop at me for answering it?

@Bob the cowboy builder You are very very wrong jenson is 6per cent Lewis is 26percent
have a look on a decent stats site. Whilst your there compare stats of lewis and Jenson because thats what we are talking about. My darkside clouds your judgement and allows the rage to take over soon you will be seeing things as everyone does. Lewis greater than Jenson. I mean even Jenson said he developed this current car what a fail and BOB you call me fail haha look Lewis goes to Merc and they look better now than Macca... I suggest you engage brain before trying to mess with logic!!!
