He also mentioned, that driving on the track like Barcelona would be no problem, difficulty would start with tracks like Monte Carlo.
I gueas time will tell, but I'm hoping to see him in competitive F1 car in a close future

cobalt. nowhere have i read that kubica stated that he may be able to test an f1 car this season. he states that he is still hankering after f1, and that is understandable. the report also states that driving a single seater is unworkable. the simple fact is that he has no lateral movement in his elbow or forearm, and has little feeling or movement in his hand. barring a miracle, robert will never be in an f1 car. have a look at videos and photos of his right arm, he just cannot use it, and his hand is a semi claw state. even his rally car has had to be modified, after special dispensation.
also his lack of movement in his arm would preclude him passing the exit test from any single seater.

Richard, there was a big conference this week in Poland to introduce Kubicas sponsors for the ERC/WRC season. A lot of interviews followed hence the quotes that are now reaching international sites.
There is a short clip where Robert demonstrates that he can move all fingers of his right hand. There is constant improvement in the mobility of his hand. Some tests in an F1 may happen later this year. It does not matter if we believe it will happen or not. The fact is that Robert was seriously injured and now is going to drive in WRC! The highest level of the sport!
Without fully functioning hand he may still be faster than many drivers currently in F1. It would be good to see that.
