Hamilton has not proved or indeed disproved anything yet. When the season is over we will see what if anything he has achieved. If the car improves he will get the best out of it if it does'nt we will start to get the moaning especially if Rosberg shows better form. A leopard does'nt change his spots especially overnight

Sorry but cant see how hes proved anyone wrong - He finished fifth. Yes, exactly where hes been finishing for the last 4 years. So the same. Except for a payrise. Well done on the payrise anyway.

@tomcol
he has proved eveyone wrong when he made the decision of joining merc when eveyone said it was the worst decision ever but look where he would have been with his former team that has become a mid fielder this season.
With a strong start to the season, alot better than everyone expected, we can only expect things will imrove for them. And going back to Hamilton's comment, moving to merc was better than staying with mclaren.

The bottom line here is that Lewis is looking like a genius after one race. However, McLaren pride themselves on their ability to develop a car quickly and Mercedes have shown the opposite over the last three years. So, if at the end of the season the Mercedes is ahead of the McLaren and Lewis ahead of Jenson, the genius bit will have some wear-with-all! Great start to a season though, don't you think?

Evening all.
Am sitting here with my sick bucket watching Skys/the awful Craig Slater's grovelling interview with Lulu!
Lulu doing PR out of the goodness of his heart...please!!!
Maclaren started bad because Lulu has left......OMG!
Have now decided to mute the tv or turn over everytime Sky produces such clap trap or when Craig Slater talks his drivel!

lulu. all you have proven is that you can still put your foot in your mouth!
schumi and nico were reasonably capable of putting the merc in 5-6 place, so you have not done anything different to either f those. and you certainly did not streak away from nico. so it would appear that merc might have improved a tad, but that was certainly not thanks to lulu.

and remember, IF the macca had not gone into a decline, both cars would probably have been ahead of you.
the pace of the merc was 1 sec a lap off the lotus.

maybe lulu should wait until the end of the season before spouting out how he has "proved us wrong"

Blimey Lewis, can you just get past yourself for a second.....?! Contrary to what goes on in your head, the world does not spend the better part of its day worrying if you did the right thing or not!

Like his first BBC blog, lost count of the amount of times he wrote 'me', 'the real me', 'when people get to know me'....me, me, me! Talk about 'the boy in a bubble'....
