Oligarch. ..my sentiments exactly. .Lewis won't be doing any right for wrong in the eyes of most of the resident posters on here...no matter what you or any of the multitude of paid f1 expert pundits say...of course he wouldn't of won his championship with preferential treatment from his team. .Goodness. .you could level that argument every other past f1 world championship. .as for Mercedes progress from end of last season to now is astronomical. .equivalent of sticking a Torro rosso on the P1

I think he meant that he has proven some critics wrong that said going to mercedes was a bad move. Only time will tell if the mercedes of this year will stay ahead of McLaren. As mercedes has shown us last few years that development isn't their strongest point. I'm a fan of hamilton but i never really understood why he causes high bloodpressure with so many of you. I know he's kinda of a character with his earings and high maintenance girlfirend, but none of that really mathers once their on track. All you guys are accomplishing with slating lewis is increasing his marketing value.

would not say mercs progress is that good mark but it is too early to say the critics are wrong though as we have had one race only in a season of nineteen races.

The car that won a race and got a pole early in the season was the same car what got turnt over mid way on. .the car hadn't changed it's just the others caught up on the development.
This is why it's all so exciting to watch f1 now ..regs haven't been substantially changed since 2009 giving the lesser teams time to catch up.
You gotta forget what happened back then. .you just need to know where the car was in November. .it was 2.5 off P1...you gotta factor in there development as well ..so add another second to that. .making it 3.5 off the pace.
Fast forward Q3 Oz Mercedes are .7 off the pace of Red Bull on a damp track. .I personally think that's a great achievement. .as long as they keep on developing at the same rate as they are now really the sky's the limit.
As for the race well, errors were made. .2 stopping for one. .Ross held Lewis back to conserve hoping to make the jump later on. .Ferrari capitalised on Lewis's new tenure. .He was hardly going to commit to a 50 50 on th

the first off was he. .like Mercedes have reiterated time over the the car is not the finished item yet and it won't be until Brazil in the meantime it must stay ahead of the pack.
I'd be more worried qualifying on a regular basis down the grid then winning the rare race through others dropping out. ..This is why Mercedes are so excited. ..they've made near on 3 seconds on close season. What other team have made that amount of progress over that time. .very few if any i bet

mark etc. and the bull is not the finished article yet, and the ferrari ditto, and the macca ditto.......etc. all teams are developing their cars, and there is nothing to suggest that merc will be ahead in the game. already lauda is criticising the pirellis...a tyre that everybody has to use...so they are looking for excuses already!

You aren't taking in what I'm saying. .what other team has made 3 seconds in close season.
All I'm doing is measuring that progress to the rest of the season. .With the calibre of staff now on there books there's no reason why us Mercedes fans shouldn't be at least a little optimistic. .you can grant us that surely.
