Richard, I'm surprised you have gone out of your way to point out that none of the top teams are the finished product. We all know it's a development race, likewise who said that the Mercedes is the finished product either. Horner was complaining about the tyres as were Mclaren and Ferrari hardly excuses in that case I would have thought. It seems you are criticizing the Mercedes team while pointing out the blatant obvious. If our previous exchanges is anything to go by I'm sure you can come up with a stronger argument. Do not take my post to heart, just having a dig at you on this occasion. Regards

Markfrankhamf1, I'm sure you should be more than optimistic this season. Mercedes have a new vigor about them and this isn't just because Lewis has joined the team but rather a concerted effort on their part to establish the team as they use to be when they where last in F1. So you should naturally have a spring in your step. They will be front runners soon enough.

mark etc. of course i am getting what you are saying. but the fact is that merc didnt make up 3 secs during the winter. they have never been 3 secs off. and the fact that they were able to get a pole and a win shows that mid season they were actually up on pace. but they did slip back a bit or else others got faster, which is probably the real reason.

salan, i said what i said, as mark.... was making claims that merc had made huge gains, which they hadnt, and then reminded him that others also develop their cars. who is to say that errari will not find a further sec improvement, or macca a 2 sec improvement, and maybe merc stand still or fall back.
NOBODY can say what will happen. it is much nicer to just sit back and watch the season unfold. the balance will move around from race to race

but it all goes back to the thread.....for lulu to say, after one damp race, that he has proved all the pundits and drivers wrong, is just plain stupid.

When will Hamilton grow up?
He's had enough experience to become an adult, but he's a very slow learner: a real man would know enough at this stage to keep his mouth shut and show some humility so early in the season. His childish arrogance makes every stubbed toe a disaster, and in the F1 game everybody occasionally stubs a toe. Winners let their performance speak for them. He should learn from Kimi, a grown up.

Well, can you imagine the reception a bunch of Lounge Lizards would get from Kimi?

Would really like to be a "fly on the wall" if that ever happened!

Leave me alone I #$@%# know what I am doing.....

What have you proved from 1 race ?that nico is 2 seconds faster than you in the wet and you still cant make tyres last most over rated driver in history ,had one of the best cars ever sice you entered f1 1 lucky title handed to you by timo 4th and 5th in the title ever since .

Nothing has been proved. ..yet:). .Nico 2 seconds faster in the wet. .maybe in test, practice Q1 and 2. ...when it mattered in Q3 where was Nico then. ..nobody does anything worthwhile in f1 without the best kit and team..that's nothing new.
