Richard. .Its been a long day! . Lewis had championship winning cars in 07 and 08. .it was implied that JT gifted him his title. .I think not ..had Massa had won it, it would of been all thanks to the FIA gifting Massa the Spa race just like in the good ol Schumacher days NOT!

Lewis had personal coupled with more car problems in 11 and last year it was the car's reliability what let him down.

marketc. sorry, i got confused with the previous post to yours.

re your latest, do you not mean TG? apart from that, massa was the real wdc that year, but he lost a dose of points through two incidents. the engine blow up on last lap when leading by a mile, and the fuel hose debacle.
however, those are all in the past, but it does show that lulu was never in a really dominating decision, despite having the best car. he won his sole wdc by a series of mishapsof others.

He didn't prove me wrong, I never doubted his ability, he will prove that whatever he get's in - he will drive it fast

I think he proved that on 'Top Gear'

What's with the 'marketc' it's beginning to get under my skin.

No mistake. .JT supposedly gifted Lewis his 5th position to win the 2008.

Massa's engine blew...leading by a country mile. .that's probably why it popped

The fuel hose mix up was through Ferrari incompetence. .plain and simple...you would though being fifty odd years in the game they'd have the hang of it by now .still, they fixed that for the following year. .they had the rules changed

Of course Lewis won his sole world championship thus far through others mishaps etc. .isn't how it works anyway. .you know very well its a combination of lash ups and brilliance.

Lewis just missed out on his first year. .got it on his 2nd year then McLaren gave him dogs the following 4 years. ..yes yes Jenson scored more points on a couple of those. .so what. .Steady Jenson still never won another wdc and given his age & his team he's not likely to. ...unlike speed demon Lewis!

marketc. well, your name is far too long to write down! so i shortened it to "mark etc" i get the mark part, and the ham part, but is the frank ..frank williams?

any you keep saying that jt gifted him the wdc. to whom are you referring? from my memory, most posters credit lulus wdc to timo glock. am i wrong? and for your info, i never subscribe to the theory that timo deliberately drove off the track to aid lulu, who had at that time, just lost the wdc when vettel passed him.

and when assessing driving skills, you have to look through an entire season for true comparison, and in my mind, massa did in fact outdrive lulu that year.
