It's going to be really tight at front come race day.

But just glad Lotus is showing some real pace after some people dismissed Melbourne as an anomaly.

Force India is not kidding around either. Merc will be hard-up to keep them behind.

It hasnt taken long before Max Chilton got found out.....but he is only a young lad and hopefully the team, whilst clearly having a car which is in no danger if going quickly and will remain rooted at the back, can still look after Max and prevent him losing confidence. Either that or Jules is quick.

Yeh, Raiks looks on fire. Seems effortlessly fast. FI were looking good as well, Di Resta in particular. Maccas seem about where they were - although Button fastest on the inters in p2 might be some hope given the weather there. Merc didn't seem to do much for some reason. Tyre wear looks a real issue again...

Has anyone else noticed how bloody quick bianchi has been in every session. Impressive start for him. Also, it'd be nice if Ferrari got behind massa this weekend without pitting him to assist Alonso. Massa is flying.

Great to see Kimi at the front again but It looks like being a close race. McClaren seemed to have closed the time gap but there still 11th and 12th. If the weather conditions are vairable hopefully they can bag a few points and Kimi can get another win.

So it's true! Massa is faster than Alonso with this car but sadly he will be told to give way for Fernando one way or another. If Massa had made 2 stops like he asked the team and was denied he would had won but instead he lost 2 positions to give the guy one.

There is nothing like Schumi Championship years these days! Looks like FA has to sweat it out with Kimi this year! and Vettel, if bulls find tire degradation fixes!
