rumblings around the paddock are that some teams fear that the three year old Lotus used to develop the pirreli tyres has given Lotus an unfair tyre advantage, however during free practice Johnny Herbert suggested that it may be down to Kimi's driving, along with James Allison suggesting during the princeples press briefing that Kimi is firing on all cylinders. The target is being acquired.

So I just read that these Pirelli's were tested/developed on a 3 year old Reno..who is now Lotus..hmmm..I think this has given Lotus an unfair advantage, as they are currently experiencing none of the tire problems the other teams are. Did u notice how easily they were able to do Oz in 2 stops to everyone elses 3, and also set fastest lap? Plus, cars in Oz coming in for tires after a few laps...Hey Pirelli, wheres the racing gone?

C/P "rumblings around the paddock are that some teams fear that the three year old Lotus used to develop the pirreli tyres has given Lotus an unfair tyre advantage..."
What stupiditys these are. For 3 years nobody in RB or Ferrari wasn´t aware that they have tire issues?? Until somebody else got win?? C´mon!

I'm following Kimi as my favorite driver since he came to F1 at what was at the time a very very young age.
The ''comeback Kimi'' look even better than the first time around. Maybe the lotus is having some advantage with the tire, but the man still drove it with class in Oz.
People who think he have nothing to do with how the car managed to last that long with a set of tire are not following the same sport i do.
I do hope that the other teams will find a way to make their own tire last, as much as i want Kimi for WDC, i want a fight!!! lol
