F1 » Hamilton 'pretty happy' with second row spot

Lewis Hamilton: We did our lap with older tyres than the guys in front, which was a bit unfortunate, but our pace was good overall so I can't complain

rosberg was delayed on his fast lap, by kimi. so who knows what he could have done. the interestin fact was that vettel and lulu were running at the same time, on the same tyres. yet look at comparison of the two times! that is quite a good indication of relative speeds. others set their fast laps a bit earlier, when the track was damper

Richard what are you smoking?? Hami set his lap two before Vettel, and on his original tyre. Vettel came in for a new tyre along with ferrari boys... Rosberg was th elast man out so should have been fastest..

sausAge. lulu was also on inters, which were already warm, yet his time was slower than his earlier time, and he was more than 2 secs behind seb. and as stated, nico was blocked by kimi.
but i prefer to go by race results, rather than poles in a damp and drying sesson.

Actually Ive met Jenson on 2 occasions. ..Reading Services station :) just after he signed for McLaren and at Swindon Honda plant in 2001. .both times he came across as a decent chap.

Having said that. .it doesn't detract from the fact that he said pre season, he had 'the best car ever'...we don't know whether he was under McLaren team orders, to make such ,what it seems now, a totally ludicrous statement or simply bravado.
I've said it before. .he's gonna want to see the back of this season soon as!

@ BoB

Clearly this season should show you and all the Hami haters how Lewis carried Mclaren on his back.
I mean Jenson without Hamilton's data and set up information is looking down a long dark tunnel.
What happened to the i'm MR SMOOTH tag its now i'm MR SANDPAPER to my tyres now without Hamilton's telemetry.. I now know why Button was annoyed at Lewis for showing the telemetry its not as if he hasn't seen it before. Button is the most sly at just copying other drivers but when Hamilton refused to help him look at him now the great team leader behind Force India with a team budget which would get Cyprus out of debt. I laugh so hard at his comments for example "This is the best car ever"before pre season testing. After pre season testing "I HAVE NO GRIP". Then all the media say Jenson is great in truth he qualifies poorly and in the races lucks a result not due to his own skill but just by taking place. Thats why I don't like Jenson he is what I call the office creep.

Bob , what button did to deserve the negative comments was that he behaved like a snake instead of a team mate. Its not your fault you cant see it as you need to be intelligent to notice the subtle way in which Button acted like a snake.

The Macs are welcome to him, he really is showing how rubbish he is, now that his luck has run out.

I couldn't agree with you more Darth Vader. Button is completely two faced. The Mr Nice Guy image he shows on camera is just an act. Look at his contract behaviour when he was with Williams and BAR. First he tried to weasel out of his contract with BAR and when that didn't work he signed a secret pre-contract agreement with Williams. Then when BAR looked to be a better team, he then tried to slither out of his Williams contract. This is the real Jenson Button. Two faced and cannot be trusted. Just ask Lewis. Don't be fooled by his PR team.
