F1 » Vettel: I messed up, I'm sorry

Sebastian Vettel: I owe an explanation to Mark and to the team and that's it. Everyone else obviously has the right to have their own opinions but for sure it is not a victory that I'm very proud of because it should have been Mark's.

Team orders, for te good or bad of F1. In Red Bull´s case, Vettel forced his win at the risk of the entire race and Mark let go in favour of it, if not who knows what could have happened. Cheers to Mark . Woes to Vettel
Mercedes stupiditty on behalf of Ross Bawn showed how favoritism towards one defines the team rivalry evolution during the year.
The t in team work is very small. In both cases.

A highly disingenuous apology I would think, it was'nt an accident he overtook Webber it was totally deliberate and he had no intention of obeying team orders. Redbull say the drivers are given equal equipment and treatment while that may be true when it comes to winning they only want Vettel to win, Webber may well get a win if Vettel hit's trouble but otherwise Vettel is favoured. Marko has openly rubbished Webber which should tell everyone which way the wind blows. Since this is Webber' swansong at Redbull he should look after himself and if that means not helping or disadvantaging Vettel thgen so be it.

Cant understand this, if a driver is quicker then he deserves to win. Not a big fan of vettel but i'm glad he won. Team orders should be punished not obeyed. I think it's time F1 moved on and abolish team orders.

Seb once more shows Mark he is not a team player and will disobey everyone to win.
All I can say is Mark you should have jumped ship last season and you would have got an even playing field at another team rather than having the privilege of being "Equal" at Red Bull

@meh, the drivers were told to hold station after the last round of pitstops. Webber was managing his car and was not going as fast as he could because he thought Vettel wouldn't challenge him. He was following team orders, which I may not agree with but both drivers signed up to. Vettel, in effect, broke his word!
