@yak - great posts. Nail on the head.

@friggin lulu fanbatch - best name on here! Haha! Hamilton's BBC column is a bit me, me, me for sure. At least Webber talked about things outside F1 from time to time. I think Lewis needs to get out more!

That is complete bovine manure from Hamilton !...every team Brawn has been a team principle of there has been a driver hierarchy...at Benneton & Ferrari it was Schumacher at Brawn racing it was Button the last 3 years it was Rosburg and Schu was his tester and he has definitely been a proponent of team orders all along even when they were banned for awhile and now it seems Rosburg has been demoted and Ham is the #1 at Merc , without even eaning that status,,.....just ask Rubens Barrichello , since basically he held Rubens back for a number of years of his career by making him and giving him the reputation of professional #2 status as part of his racing legacy...now its Rosburgs turn to be the pro#2...too bad for him

@angelina: did u read the column?the way lulu said "i was tied down at mcl by pr duties, blah, blah". in this downturn economy sponsors are the feeding arm to f1 team, and major money spent on drivers come from them and team points.yet lulu is not ready for pr duties and crashing in to drivers takes away constructors points.then how can a f1 team pay driver salary and spend on r&d?may be they should record lulu's epic hiphop music and sell to fans for making money.

Lewis you are the Don You've come into Nico's home (Mercedes) and already your leading the Silver Arrows No1 driver .

When you take over the No1 position i'm sure it will be done on merit

I'm probably going to put the cat among the pigeons but here goes with my take on both teams ..... I'm not a fan of team orders but I understand the reasoning by holding position ok. Nico caught LH because of the fuel situation only, Brawn was with the long whereby better to have a 3 and 4 than them getting involved in a possible incident cos you can bet that LH wouldn't have given the place up easily IF it was a RACE between them... I think we're all agreed on that ok . Now Red Bull... Vettel knew the score about holding position after the final pitstop which was evident by his VERY COMPOSED fone call a few laps beforehand, It was very nice of Horner to say "don't be silly Seb" BUT he forgot to say " you've proved your point, now give the place back ". As far as I'm concerned there was absolutely NO remorse from Seb his comments had no sincerity or regret in them cos he had the win/points in the bag .. end of. when all's said and done Horner made .......

Everybody accepts that Hamilton left Mclaren because Button was the better driver and was allowed to race against him. WHERE is F1 going when drivers are not allowed to race, where teams are cheating by not putting enought fuel in the car just to look good in the race, F1 is not about engine managment its about racing, Massa made a mistake and fought his way through the field, Vettel came in too early and then fought his way back to the front to be told he could not overtake a slower car to win. THIS is the crazy part of the whole episode. I dont want to watch engine managment I want to watch motor racing.

I still wonder why some people can't understand simply fact. The team made a mistake with Lewis fuel and was miles behind Redbull and miles in front of Ferrari. Why risking your 2 drivers fighting each other that might result In DNF. Why couldn't Rosborg pass him when his car was still at it..even when he managed due to the information he already heard he retook him straight away. Lewis is not that kind of driver that enjoyed been passed by team mate. .And Brawn knows that so that's why he said to
Rosborg that Lewis can equally go faster when he was lamenting on the radio.
