Brilliant news, I have had the pleasure of briefly meeting Claire once last year and she left a great impression on me of an extremely capable, bright, approachable and highly endearing person. Good luck to her.

williams are a joke. they showed no ambition when with bmw. thats why they left and turned sauber into a better then williams and are still benefiting even though bmw left them years ago. now his daughter is 2nd in command is she really the best person for the job, how such a great team have fallen and its all franks fault

empower - (Sir) Frank is someone who gives family connections absolutely no time when considering a person's fitness for a position. You can be assured, therefore, that Claire Williams is perfectly capable of fulfilling her role.

Richard.....absolutely agree that its very promising to see another woman in a major F1 position. Lets hope that many more will follow. It must help that Suzy Perry and Lee Mckenzie have both been in the lead TV presenter roles.
