"Webber was not soundly thrashed by Vettel for the last 3 years."

You don't know the meanings of English words.

"In 2010 he was in the championship fight until the final round"

Yeah ... thanks ONLY to Vettel suffering numerous mechanical failures all year long.

Christian Horner chose to reprimand Vettel for being 'silly', in the process giving himself the all the authority of a dinner lady during a disorderly Primary School lunch break, while Ross Brawn took on the mantle of the stern head-teacher and replied to Rosberg's repeated appeals to be allowed past Hamilton with an emphatic 'No'.

Summed up the proceedings perfectly

Brawn lied over the radio, telling Rosberg that Hamilton could go faster while telling Hamilton to slow down.

It seems obvious that having spent a kings ransom to hire Hamilton, he now wants him to finish ahead of Rosberg. In his time at Ferrari Brawn always had a clear No 1 and No driver. He wants the same thing at Mercedes, with Hamilton as the designated No 1.

@fernandabulous - yes, but on the other hand, he knows very well that in reality he cannot say anything. to me it looks more likely that they promised somehting to webber that vettel didnt agree to and thats why he overtook! why should they otherwise put in team orders that early in the season? it also seems that massa is the private tester for alonso come race weekends.. he is often very fast if not quicker in qualifying that alonso but come race day he seems to luck behind.. and i dont think its necesarily down to massa. and the fact between hamilton and nico is that ham was faster but the team underfueled him. thats why nico was not allowed to overtake

F1 / FIA should not allow races to be ixed . As a matter iof fact this was not a race at all, when 2 of the 3 podium finnishers indicate they did not deserve their position , then we have a a real problem .

This is especially true of Mercedes wher Rosberg was clearly faster thyan Hamilton and could have put pressure on Red Bull . Because of team orders Mercedes fixed the race and not doubt future outcomes to favour of Hamilton . Thus we will never know who really has the best pace .

A sad state of affairs
