thse that think the fastest driver won are mistaken. The race between the two redbulls was to the last pitstop which MW won. After the final pitstop, MW turned down his fuel usage and was cruising to victory knowing team orders had been given and thinking that SV would also do what was expected. Team orders should not exsist in the sport but they do, and when both drivers agree to the condtions before the start of the race then they should follow them.

Whitmarsh is not dumb he is one of the two most hypocrites team bosses in F1 at present, the teams being RBR and Mclaren both of whom champions drivers equalities and screams the loudest against team orders but both of whom will prefer one driver over the other, both of whom use team orders when it suites them best, Whitmarsh like his counterpart at RBR wasn't about to miss this opportunity to rub some salt on RBR'S wound, the trouble is that his team's past behaviour re both team orders and driver's preferences doesn't telly at all with what he says, but then what does one except from a first rate hypocrite.

The Poster on here that constantly attacks MW, is coming across as a bit of a Stalker.

I have no particular interest in MW - BUT am really, really bored with this posters constant sniping.

Did MW "water down" your favorite drivers chips or what?

Bob in 'Hamilton bashing shocker'!
Reaching for the Kleenex no doubt.
Whitmarsh is doing what he should do. Making life difficult for a better team's boss.
For once, he is on top of his job.
However, personally I can't help thinking that had Maclaren had an undisputed No1 then it 'may' have well have helped in certain results. Whether that be JB or LH is just personal taste in driver.
Can't help thinking LH would and still is the better bet both at Maclaren and his new team Mercedes.

Mclaren the team Whitmarsh included has always and will always do what they think they should do as they are not any different from other teams that's apart from their/his shear hypocrisy, past examples as to when they at mclaren “were supposed to have been on top of their job” and “when they did have a clear preferred number one driver” are.
Saturday October 20th 2007 20: 27 GMT Brian Hardewood Autosports F1 news, (Alonso fears title lost in qualifying) a furious expletive ridden exchange between Lulu and Dennis “Lulu, don't ever f****** do that to me again” Dennis, “don't ever f****** speak to me like that again” Lulu “go f****** swivel”. Lulu disobeyed a direct team order by refusing to yield position to Alonso. The mclaren team principal with Whitmarsh as second in command in Shanghai (something that never ever happened in F1) “we (mclaren) were not racing Kimi, we were basically racing Fernando.

good to see martin whitmarsh saying that lewis and alonso raced on equal terms in 2007 sort makes all the idiots on here who said ron was favouring lewis look like one eyed hamy haters the same bell ends who were saying lewis was pushed from mclaren or that lewis was not ferrari material with the Mclaren team principal and the ferrarii president coming out wiith comments that makes those one eyed haters look the prats they really are.

pts....they also instantly believed Whitmarsh when he said something they wanted to hear. But yet refer to hypocrisy when it suits their needs/view. They fully backed him when Lewis contract was being discussed. And found true love with Martin when he said things they liked. Amazing how martin speaks the gospel sometimes and yet other times he speaks with the largest fork tongue.
