peter. no, i never heard webber apologise!

wacky. certainly not a fanboy, but it is important to discuss all facts as they become available. there are some who jump to conclusions with false info, vettel is villified , probably due to his nationality, (sadly) whereas there are always two sides to an event. the facts that i have mentioned are readily available. if you choose not to believe these, fine, but do you not think that it is best to ascertain full facts before damning a person?

Richard, Vettel is now a confirmed liar like Hamilton, they are both No1 in their teams and both really fast. Can we now have more evenhanded comments since they are so alike?

@ Ptolemy, Austin was possibly the best race last season as we got to see the differences between teams as well as team-mates, had perfect weather on a brand new well laid out track. Go.

Only Vettel knows if he lied or not and that's a fact. You may believe that he isn't lying but you can't convince others that he is not. You are assuming that he didnt lie because he is your favorite driver and your posts will be biased towards Vettel being innocent. This is the fact - only Vettel knows if he is lying about ignoring or misunderstanding the team order. Nobody else. I don't mind you saying that you believe that he didn't lie but to tell everybody else that to believe that Vettel isn't lying is bordering on fanboyism. Because as I have said, only Vettel knows if he lied or not. You wouldn't and nor would I. Believe what you will but don't tell me what to believe.

Angelina---- Here you go again. You manage to bring Button ( or nogrip as you call him) and McLaren into every post you comment on. What is your issue ?.
Did he refuse to autograph your Justin Beiber lunchbox or something ?.
You really don't have much idea about motorsports do you judging from the last sentence of your post.
Oh your post has disappeared -what a shame.

wacky. nowhere have i said if vettel is "lying" or not. it is not up to me to decide that, but it is not up to those who are constantly saying that he is, to judge him, if they have no idea of the facts. there is a big difference to lulu, who was TOLD to lie, and did. it is up to rbr to decide if any punishment is warranted. it is an internal matter. my grouse is that there should not be team orders at all.

just watching f1 show on sky, and berger was saying that there was nothing wrong with what vettel did, as he was a true racer.

the simple fact is that vettel did nothing that had neot been done to him before. the main difference is that vettel did not publicly moan when it was done to him, unlike webber, who disgraced himself with his comments on air.

richard... I love your biasedness towards Vettel, you're so predictable. On any given topic concerning the man, you wait like a stalker for the opinions of others to be posted and then you go on the attack... keep it up old boy...

I'm already tired of reading about this story. It happened, it's over, let's move on. Obviously, Vettel's selfishness was greater than his sensibility at the time. He can't give the points back, nor do I think he would if he could. Vettel must now know that Webber probably won't support him later in the season if he needs it, and Red Bull management shouldn't fault Webber if he chooses this path.

Pathetic. No need to apologize at all.
Red Bull are making him look like a fool. I begin to think it'd be better for Seb to leave this team that doesn't value his work.
