F1 » Vettel was wrong, say F1 fans

Fans unimpressed by Sebastian Vettel's actions in the 2013 F1 Malaysia Grand Prix, with the vast majority voting he was wrong to disobey team orders and 'steal' the victory from his Red Bull team-mate, Mark Webber.

People are such hypicrites. Vettel raced and won. Suddenly all the losers wants teamorders in the sport and I bet it's the same loser that cried when it was used previously.

Pathetic!

@MikeD noone wants team orders but since they exist the drivers should follow. If you were a football player and your coach wants to substitute you, you would stay in instead just because you dont want to make way to someone else? Its the chain of command. They order you something and you must follow (in logical demands ofcourse)...

As usual people want to argue to the end of time. but...

ORDERS are ORDERS and
IF VETTEL had been in the ARMY..
HE would have been..

COURT MARSHALLED.

he is an employee paid to perform and to to what he is told.
If they did something wrong by him he would sue them for breach of contract.
We would go to the union if it was us.

That applies in every walk of life.

I dont think what vettel did was good but it was not cheeting. If this was hamolton or alonso they wouldbe praised as true racers and ledgends. So give him a brake.

Watch the boy cry when he gets some of his own back... thank God most of the team suck up to him, because there's one bloke in amongst them who'll put him into the wall without a thought... nuff said

I disagree with team orders. It was very wrong to keep Rosberg behind Hamilton and nothing prevented Webber from defending his lead except that Vettel was quicker.

Vettel has always been faster than Webber and always will be. I am a great fan of MW but his racecraft is not the best and certainly not up to that of SV.

Senna & Schumacher would have done exactly the same!

F1 racing is a ruthless sport and order takers have never won world championships.

Helmut Marko is spot on when he refers to Vettel as a phenomenon. Keep up the good work Sebastian!

Joydeep.
If like you say vettel was only faster because of his strategy (which is wrong) then what is so bad about that. Him and his team picked a good strategy and webber and his team picked a bad one. That dose not mean thet he shold be punished and made to stay behind the mupit who mest up his strategy. And christion said he let them race untill the last pit stop which is not right vettel was told after ever pit stop to stay behind.

I don't understand anyone "hating" a driver. What a strange thing to allow to occupy one's mind. In this case, looking for every possible reason to conjecture support for hating Vettel seems truly strange. It has resulted in an insane level of support for team orders that is completely out of alignment with past prior arguments against them. It has elevated a team order from internal team instruction, to a moral outrage and calls for official sanctioning? For perspective: In the future, all arguments against team orders will be qualified by this small incident and the complete over-reaction to it, supporting team orders as a form of moral edict that cannot be refused. Good luck with that. The nutters have indeed taken over the nuthouse, so reason can no longer be counted upon as a guide.
